We have just returned from a week of COVID Isolation in the van having set out vaingloriously to visit Patrick uup noorth.
I tested positive the morning we arrived in Gateshead – so we set out home but not the usual two-day quick route…
Instead, we carried out a tour of inspection of East Coast Resorts from Staithes… Packed with ‘tween xmas & NY tourists!!!
To Scarborough, Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe, Skegness (move over Margate for the brightest & most garish seafront ?) I have probably missed a few seaside clones…
Then by Boston, Kings Lynn and much more refined Bury St Edmunds…
It was fun visiting places oft heard of but never tempted previously. Ros explored a bit on foot as she was absolutely fit… I hid in the van and drove as necessary – so an unexpected start to the new year.
Anyway, to the point of this email… Your card was awaiting on our return and I have just looked at your wonderful drawings… this is most definitely a habit you should continue …

Definitely annual. But why not go for quarterly, and catch each season?
